PC identification
To ensure a high level of security, Directa has introduced the ability to identify the locations from which the customer intends to operate. Until at least one location is identified, the client can access our service through any Internet connection, while after activating the identification of one or more PCs it can be accessed only by identified stations. Now here below some examples:
After the introduction of user code and password the following screen appears

As you can see, the system notices an Unidentified PC and shows date and time of the last click at last connection. In this situation there is no control over the access point to our service. Clicking Forward leads to the Main Board of your account.
Let us now see how to proceed in case you want to allow only 2 PC to operate with Directa, the home PC and laptop: connect to the site from one of the two computers and then by Main Board access the Option screen and select Login, at this point the following screen appears

If you now press the button Enable This Computer you will get the unique identification of your PC and you will see the next screen

Please note your UNLOCK CODE! It is essential, in case of system or PC failure, to have it at hand, because without it you can not access to Directa service.
As you can see, now the first PC is identified with code 01 and the status turns out to be Active. Pressing the Enable Other Computers you will be able to activate another PC. To enable other kind of devices (e.g. iOS device) please contact us by mail at directa@directa.it

At this point there is time until date and time indicated to access our site from the other PC. When this happens, the following screen appears

The new computer is now associated with code 02, with status To be enabled. Upon entering the site, on Login screen, you will see the following screen

Clicking on Enable This Computer the identification of the second PC will be over. The success of the operation will be confirmed in this way:

The system has recognized and identified the second work station with code 02. If there is ever need to use another PC, simply repeat the steps above.
From now on, anyone who tries to access the site Directa using the username and password from a computer other than those authorized will see the following screen

This message indicates an ongoing attempt to access the site from an unauthorized workstation or an error on your PC. Introducing the unlock code and press release, all previous settings will be cancelled and the access to site will be possibile from any device, without restriction.
Warnings!
This security control is based on the use of cookies and therefore it is good to be familiar with some restrictions concerning the correct use of the procedure.
- The browser (Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc. ..) must be enabled to cookies.
- The use of different browsers on the same PC involves the identification of two different locations as if they were two different PCs.
- After entering username and password and pressing enter, please wait for the page to unload to avoid a failure in recording the cookies, otherwise they are no longer recognized by the system.
- Customers using PCs connected to Microsoft networks should be aware that each user login has its own set of cookies therefore, if you log on to our site throught (Microsoft Network) different, you play a position equivalent to that of several computers.
